The Eye on Banff shows the Town of Banff, with Cascade Mountain providing the backdrop.
The time shown on the clock is Mountain Time (GMT -07:00). Currently, the camera takes one photo every five minutes twenty four hours a day. During low visibility conditions, the camera may display a completely gray or black image, however you should be able to see the town lights at night. To see what the view looks like on a clear day, click here.
The camera image is a 16x9 HD MegaPixel image and is best viewed in 32 bit colour (Native resolution 1280x720).
