Page 17 of 23 'LETTING THOUGHTS RUN' The secret to embracing impossible timing demands require one to constantly pursue their task and goal despite the seemingly pulling thoughts of other things that must be done but not right now how do we let those go but have them in priority after? how can we whole heartedly reach our goal while trusting that we will be able to get to those other tasks done? Some write them down, others try multi tasking but the secret for us as runners is to do the most effecient thing for us that allows our recovery or training not be compromised. The question must then be asking... what is the first priority? Your right... it is not to have our training suffer under the weight of worldly demands and as such I guarantee you will find that you will be better able to meet any demands this life may cast on you like a shadow that does nothing but tell you that the sun is and always be right there behind what your mind is paying attention to. 'CATCHING THE DROPLETTING' The drop of an attitude ripples righteously An environment of hope Trembles rightfully For the ripples come back again and again To meet hope with an assurance That life has a way Of making things right 'PURSUING PEACE' In the quest... There are times I find Myself noticing people as they observe From places of judgement and doesn't this indeed Just put me into this exact state. So how do I fight what I feel Is wrong and holding us back... By joining in. No. |
