Page 8 of 21 We carried suffering after feeling it's victim It turned us into it's advocate Our nature by design became One of not worth So the pain was easy to administer On the outside too good - things as they go Was to be countered by total destruction Along the way too good - things that were not Life is often masked with addiction The disease doing so away with righting Perspective shutting the doors to the start of healing The mountain is part of the landscape We are a part of the being Suffering is only a PART of life The other we did ONCE dare not see Only by knowing the very nature can the storm be followed home Inside the heart of origin run by the misguided mind A small self was thought to be so huge Had the power to control things out of control And I fell to the ground The rain pounding on my head Washing away the hurt was felt But discomfort for my heart was fed And I fell to the ground Picked up a substance that took me Places without pain. Paper walls Reference made, it took decades to Identify the disconect from my being And I fell to the ground To pick myself up again, cause be known and cause be shown I was seperate from life Through the sense of me Taking the air and making panic Addiction swirled and drew My head spinningly spun within In the forest of the disease Never settle became the mettle I forged into my chains For the moment wasn't right To trust any other person or thing With deciding where my life will go Those thoughts now run out of fuel They are humourously without power Barbs on their branches can't snag Me right now I hold the importance of love Beyond measure and a thought Is not worth giving up gratitude For a moment, the resonation from the nature in all Emits energy that connects and becomes one of which We am part of.
